Alternative feedstocks

The search for alternative feedstocks based on renewable or partially recycled materials is one of the main areas of focus to reduce carbon footprint. As fossil fuels become scarcer, Arkema is adapting with a dual approach to material sourcing. We use both the “Mass Balance” method and a "Segregated" approach to create bio-based solutions. For photocurable specialty resins, Arkema offers Sartomer® Bio-Based, based on renewable raw materials, that uses a segregated approach.
