Post pre-registration Sartomer USA REACH statement

Depending on previous communications with the Sartomer REACH Team, you may fall into 1 of these 3 categories:

• A REACH Only Representative (OR) Coverage Agreement has been executed between you and Sartomer USA :

All the substances contained inside our products which you export directly as such, in preparation or in article into the EU (see Annex 1 of the executed OR coverage agreement) have been pre-registered successfully. Pre-registrations have been completed by Sartomer USA ’s appointed OR – Cray Valley S.A. France. You have received an official Notice of Appointment of Sartomer USA’s OR that is addressed to the attention of your direct customers in the EU, notifying them of their change of status from EU importers to downstream users under REACH concerning the Sartomer USA products you supply to them.

Now, according to the REACH OR agreement, you have to report on a quarterly basis your export information into the EU of Sartomer USA products using Sartomer REACH Software https://reach.sartomer.com.

User name and password have been provided to the REACH Contact of your company.

Please note that failure to report information timely will lead to the termination of your REACH OR Coverage Agreement with Sartomer USA .

• Sartomer USA still  hasn't received  your completed and signed REACH OR Coverage Agreement :

Following the data you submitted using our Online REACH questionnaire, you received a “REACH OR Coverage Agreement” to be completed and signed if you wish to benefit from Sartomer USA ’s OR pre-registration concerning the substances inside Sartomer USA ’s product(s) you export directly into the EU. At that time we still haven’t received your completed and signed “REACH OR Coverage Agreement”. Please reply to the e-mail sent to you or contact Sartomer USA Reach Team at reach@sartomer.com if it is your intend to rely on Sartomer USA ’s OR pre-registration.

• No contact has been set up yet between your company and Sartomer USA concerning   REACH.

Please note that before  the  pre-registration  period ended on 12/1/2008, Sartomer USA had  sent a letter to all its direct customers asking them to complete a Reach online questionnaire if they want to benefit from Sartomer USA’s OR pre-registration concerning the Sartomer USA’s products they export directly into the EU. At this time we didn’t receive any data from your company.

If you want to benefit from Sartomer USA ’s OR pre-registration please contact Sartomer REACH Team at reach@sartomer.com and Sartomer will evaluate this possibility depending on the details of the pre-registrations completed by our OR.
