NPE 2009, produced by SPI (Society of Plastics
Industry): The Plastics Industry Trade Association, is a five-day
conference and exhibition dedicated to fostering educational,
technical, and scientific advancement in the manufacture and use of
plastics. The event will be held June 22-26, 2009 at McCormick
Place in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A..
For NPE 2009, SPI is planning the largest and most diversified
educational program ever presented at an NPE show. Much of the
program will be free to all registered show visitors, though some
events (ANTEC presentations among them) will require a fee.
Included in SPI's program will be multi-session conferences on
business and technical topics, single-issue presentations and panel
discussions, professional training seminars, and keynote breakfasts
and luncheons.
Nearly 1,500 exhibitors and 60,000 attendees
are expected to fill the show floor at NPE 2009. Among the
exhibitors will be virtually all of the world's major suppliers of
primary processing and auxiliary equipment; machine and mold
components and supplies; resins and compounds; additives, fillers,
and reinforcements; and moldmaking services. Exhibit hours

At booth #124043 (West Hall),
Sartomer will feature its complete offering of styrene maleic
anhydride resins and imides, ionic crosslinkers, functional
polybutadienes (epoxidized, hydroxyl-terminated, maleic anhydride
functional, and thermoplastic polyurethanes).
These low molecular weight functional additives improve
thermoplastic performance in numerous ways - serving as coupling
agents and compatibilizers; offering heat resistance and barrier
properties; facilitating surface and melt flow modification;
